Kinloch Rannoch is a fantastic location for travelling spectators situated found 20 miles west of Pitlochry and 20 miles North West of Aberfeldy. Although quite remote, Kinloch Rannoch has a vibrant activity centre and boasts some great hotels and wonderful restaurants.
The area is also a great site for spectators to cheer on their loved ones. As the cyclists make their way along the loch, well wishers can cheer them on their way out towards Bridge of Ericht, and then enjoy a stroll through the village to watch the cyclists making their way back at Innerhadden.
 
A coach service will be offered from Kinloch Rannoch to Pitlochry to ensure that spectators will be at the finish line to greet the cyclists. Bookings will be available online in the coming weeks.

    Our Top Tips for spectating on the course:

    • Tell your athlete where you'll be on the course so they can look for you as well.
    • Know the course. Look over the map in advance so you know what to expect on race day. Route maps
    • Know your athlete's start time & projected times for each leg of the event. This should give you a good idea of when they'll arrive at any point on the course.
    • Be careful along the course. Don't get in the way of athletes & if you need to cross the course, make sure you're in the clear and obey the commands of the police and course marshals.
    • Have a meeting spot for after the race.
    • Remember your essentials: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and bottled water.
    NB: Please remind spectators that they must respect the safety of the competitors and they are urged to always be aware of the race going on around them.
