Following the success of Etape Caledonia in 2007 Maggie’s are delighted to be an official gold charity for the second year at this incredible event.

Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres aim to equip people with the tools to build a life beyond cancer. With a network of centres across Scotland, Maggie’s provides emotional and practical support to people affected by cancer in a homely and uplifting environment.  These essential services are provided on a drop in basis and free of charge.

With one in three people’s lives affected by cancer, the need has never been greater so join the Maggie’s cycling team and help us to extend our network of centres across the UK.  Join the Maggie’s cycling team at this year’s Etape Caledonia and we will be here to support you every step of the way - from when you sign up until the moment you cross the finish line!

Each of our unique centres has its own comprehensive library which includes a wide range of literature including Cancer BACUP booklets. These are a vital source of information and provide up to date and information on different types of cancer and its treatments. These booklets are provided free of charge for people to take home and read in their own time. Each booklet costs £3.75 each, so every penny you raise really can make a difference.
